THE DREAM THAT BECAME THE MISSION
Something Beautiful began as an online store with the hope to one day go mobile, that dream quickly became a reality when an old 1987 Fire and Rescue Truck showed up (literally!) in my driveway. Long story short- God has blessed me with a vehicle, to not only share my love of fashion but also share HOPE. The Something Beautiful mission is to share with the world that no matter what you've gone through, what you're going through, or what you may go through in the future.
I started this business as a way to share my love of fashion in a way that meets people where they are—bringing beauty, hope, and light into what can sometimes feel like a dark world. I want women to know that no matter what you’ve been through, what you’re walking through now, or what life may throw your way, through God’s grace, there is always something beautiful waiting for you.
For a long time, I let the pain and shame of being sexually molested as a child define my life. Fear held me back from becoming my full self. I carried the weight of feeling unworthy—undeserving of the goodness God had already placed in front of me. There were so many emotions, setbacks, and hard-earned lessons. But then something shifted. Something beautiful happened.
Like the butterfly, I began to transform. It was the start of a journey—of healing, of self-discovery, of shedding old beliefs that no longer served me. And in that process, I found freedom, lightness, and true joy.
That’s why Something Beautiful was born: a way to share my love of fashion, a story of hope, and a platform to advocate for those who may not yet know that they, too, have been given beautiful wings.
